Upside Down Cakes

We're breaking out the old cast iron skillet for these...well, that's the only way to do 'em.  Our ancestors would have a hissy-fit if they even thought we were baking any upside down cake in a cake pan.Now you know this upside down cake is a single layer....but at least 3" high! So, you're still getting nice slices per serving.  Also this cake looks really pretty on dessert buffets, most of your guest will enjoy it because it's traditional, all American, familiar...even to kids.  You can't go wrong with this if you're thinking of serving to guests.
